Some mornings you wake up smiling, and other mornings you feel like you’re barely keeping your head above water. Today I’ll be sharing a short, faith-centered message for anyone carrying heavy fear, worry, sorrow, or the quiet thought of “I can’t do this anymore.” I lean into Scripture like John 16:33 and Matthew 5:45 to name a hard truth: trouble touches everyone, and expecting a pain-free life can set us up for deep discouragement when reality hits.

We get honest about what weighs us down, from the weight of sin to broken relationships, illness, and the stress that makes you want to give up. I talk about the false promise of the “easy way out,” and why it often makes things harder in the long run. Then we pivot to the hope that holds: God strengthens us in ways we didn’t even know we had, especially when we don’t have the answers and our hearts feel worn thin.

If you’ve been feeling unwanted, unseen, or low in self-worth, this is a reminder that you’re not forgotten. I reflect on Galatians 6:9 and the call to keep doing good without growing weary, plus the grounded idea that faith and action belong together. The goal is healing that lasts: spiritual resilience, steadier thoughts, and the courage to step out of a mental prison of fear.

If this encouraged you, subscribe, share it with someone who’s struggling, and leave a quick review so more people can find this message. What’s one burden you’re ready to bring to God today?

A Joyful Morning Reset

SPEAKER_00

Hey, hey, good morning. I'm Robin Black and this is It's All About Healing Podcast. I'm laughing because my friend Eric he says, hey, hey, good morning every single time he says good morning. And it's just so funny because it just puts me in such a good mood because he's always so happy when he says, hey, hey, good morning. And I don't know. I just wanted to use that because it definitely makes me feel a lot better. But

Trials Are Part Of Life

SPEAKER_00

in today's word, I actually wanted to open up with some biblical intelligence today. John 16, third uh 16 33. If trials are like water, you might sometimes feel like you're barely keeping your head above the surface. Right. And I know Jesus said that trials are like rain that falls on the just and unjust. Matthew 5.45. And we should expect troubles in this life, right? One thing that when that when I was reading that, it was just like, hmm, I know it's so hard to think constantly, why does life have to be this hard? I don't understand. I don't get it. We I know I don't know if I'm the only one, but I feel that a lot of us have asked that question. We feel that life shouldn't be this hard. There has to be an easier way. And we tend to look for the easy way out.

The Trap Of The Easy Way

SPEAKER_00

But that's not what life is about. If God sits there and he tells us, expect trials. Life is not going to be easy, right? The enemy will make us think that life is supposed to be easy. He will give us that false reality. He will set us up for discouragement by making us feel as though there's an easy way out. But when we take that easy way out, when we think we're taking a easy way out, it becomes harder. And the one thing that I realize is that with the weight of sin, the weight of all these different things, all these different things like broken relationships, illnesses, right? All these different trials, it makes us, it brings us to the point where we want

Strength Beyond What You Feel

to give up sometimes. You say this isn't what I expected my life to be, or I didn't expect to go through this. I didn't expect my mother to go through this, my grandmother, my significant other, whatever the case may be. This is a lot. This is far more than what I feel I can bear. But right, God says, I don't give you more than what you can bear. Right? He that is in me is far greater than he that is in the world. He is the one who strengthens me. He gives us strength that we didn't even know we had. And one thing that I will also say is that we it's a reminder that our spirit speaks authority over our flesh. And no matter what it is that we're wanting, that we feel that we're not strong enough for. God, I don't know how I'm gonna make it through this. I don't care what it is. Like I said before, I don't care if it's the weight of sin. I don't care if it's a broken relationship. When that doesn't mean just with the significant other, it could be with a friend or a family member. You don't have to have the answer all the time. Let God speak that goodness

God Stays Close To The Broken

into you when you don't know. That's when He wants you the most. God says that I'm closest to the brokenhearted. When we don't know, when we're feeling weary, that's when God brings us to that bridge that takes us over those troubled waters. And that's what life is all about. That's what God is all about, is He wants us to come to Him during our struggles. So if you're feeling unwanted, right? You're feeling that you don't have a lot of self-worth. You feel that you don't mean a lot to people in this world or at your job or you feel unseen. Sometimes God is the one who's keeping us hidden for reasons. But I want you to hold on to that scripture. I want you to hold on to the fact that God has you, He's gonna lift you up each and every

Don’t Grow Weary Doing Good

day. I know in Galatians 6 9, it says, Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. But you gotta do good, right? We can't just move around about in life the way that we see fit and think, God, where are all my blessings? God says you gotta put in work. Faith without works is dead. You gotta, you gotta be out here doing well. You can't just just think that all the blessings are supposed to just fall, right? Our blessings aren't just supposed to rain down on us. But we also have to be thankful for the blessings that He gives us each and every

Break The Mental Prison

single day. So anyone who's feeling as though they're barely keeping their head above water, you feel like you're being drowned by the hands of fear, right? Being drowned by your worries, your sorrows. God has you. Break free from that mental prison and walk upon the waters with Him. And always remember to stay blessed.
