It's All About Healing
We share how faith steadied the chaos and why healing is less about being fixed and more about being found. You’ll hear the heart behind our mission, the growing global community, and how poetry, coaching, and candid conversations turn silent tears into words that help others breathe again.
We open up about spiritual detours that promised comfort but delivered confusion, from tarot and crystals to the myth that strength means carrying it alone. What changed everything was staying in God’s Word and staying honest with God—letting Him meet us in the mess, make crooked paths straight, and grow wisdom over time. That shift from double-mindedness to steady trust didn’t happen overnight. It unfolded through prayer, scripture, fellowship, and the brave act of telling the truth about what still hurts.
If you’re navigating grief, toxic relationships, financial pressure, or the slow work of rebuilding after setback piled on setback, this podcast is for you. We talk practical resilience, spiritual maturity, and why your testimony matters more than you think. Our community now spans 118 countries, proof that real stories travel and that healing accelerates when we carry one another. Share your journey, lend your voice, and let grace turn pain into purpose.

It's All About Healing
Good morning, and Gratitude to Chicago!!
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Places we enjoyed:
- Cilantro Taco Grill
- Catina Mexican Grill (located on the Navy Pier in front of Seadog boat tour)
- Honeybear Cafe
- Seadog Architecture tour (Ask for Ryan as your tour guide!!)
Chicago is beautiful, busy, and full of surprises and sometimes the biggest surprise is the help you didn’t even know you needed. We’re coming off an amazing weekend trip, and I’m sharing the moments that made it unforgettable, from family time and a late Mother’s Day gift to the pure “wow” factor of being at Navy Pier with endless things to do. If you love uplifting stories that mix real life with spiritual reflection, you’ll feel right at home here.
We also get into one of my favorite Chicago travel experiences: the Sea Dog architectural tour. It’s part history lesson, part comedy show, and then suddenly it’s a speedboat ride that will wake you all the way up. I talk about what made the tour so fun, why it’s worth your time whether you do the full ride or the shorter option, and the honest truth about the weather. If you’re searching for Chicago travel tips, Navy Pier recommendations, or the best architecture boat tour ideas, this will help you plan smarter.
But the heart of the conversation is bigger than travel. I share how we ran into Nicole, a veteran and nurse, who helped us figure out exactly which train to take and what to do next. It felt like a clear example of how God places people in your path at the right time, and it pushed me to reflect on gratitude, faith, and counting blessings even when they seem small.
If this story encourages you, subscribe so you don’t miss what’s next, share it with someone who could use a lift today, and leave a review to help more listeners find the show. What’s one blessing you’re choosing to count right now?

Sea Dog Tour And Speedboat Tips
SPEAKER_00food. We went on this um, what was it called? A sea dog architectural tour in speedboat. Guys, I highly recommend going on that trip. One, it's extremely informative. You learn a lot about downtown Chicago. Our tour guide, his name was Ryan. I'm not sure if he was a comedian, but he was such a pleasure. Like he was so much fun. He was funny, kept us laughing the entire time. But when it turned into a speedboat, he told us he was like, the water's gonna be a little choppy, it's really cold. It was very cold. So I highly recommend going on it. You will have so much fun. If you don't have 75 minutes, definitely go on the 30-minute speedboat ride. But try to wait till it's a little bit warmer. If you go when it's still cold, which I think it's gonna warm up in August, but when it if you go when it's still cold, make sure you wear something very warm. Um, but highly recommended. Good places to eat on the Navy pier. So much to do. It's
A Stranger’s Help And God’s Timing
SPEAKER_00endless. But I definitely wanted to speak about how God sets people along your path to help you out. It was such a blessing. We had this woman named Nicole that we ran into. She was a veteran, she was a nurse. She just she helped us out. She told us what train to catch, get on the 124, get on this, do this. I mean, it was just so amazing how we had her because I thought I was gonna end up taking that what was an Uber and trying to get around and just figuring out what we're gonna do so we don't have to pay for parking. But she definitely, definitely helped us. Um and what else, the other thing, man, it was just so much fun, guys. I'm telling you, Chicago is a beautiful city, endless things to do, and it's just it's there's so much history there. So I highly, highly recommend visiting there if whenever you get a chance. I thank you, Chicago, for having me and my family and my family that actually lives there as well. So
