Welcome back, listeners. I'm Robin Black, and this is It's All About Healing Podcast. And I wanted to speak about what It's All About Healing Podcast is all about. And it's about the evolution of what God does in our lives and how He has grown me, right? I have grown so much, like so much spiritual maturity. It's not even funny because when I first started this podcast, it'll be four years ago, come June 7th. And I was going through so much. And I was just a baby. I was a small baby in Christ, right? It's like I grew up in church. I I had this life where I thought I knew everything, but I didn't realize how wrong I was. And when I first started this, I had lost one of my closest childhood friends to me. You know, he he overdosed and I took it very, very, very hard. That wasn't easy for me. And then I was going through a terrible breakup, right? In a relationship with a narcissist. Um, that alone is another story, and how hard that was was extremely, extremely hard. But when I was going through all of that, I it's like God is closest to the brokenhearted. But the devil, he will pray on the weak. And I was at a very vulnerable, weak state of mind. And when he came in, it's like he came in with all these things, and and he invited tarot and crystals and all these different things that are so wrong. And I did not know it. But the one thing that God never did is he never left me. Even when I was wrong, and no matter how many wrong turns we make, he makes them right. He will always make our crooked paths straight. And when I was going down this this this dark rabbit hole, he always kept me, he always stayed near me. And that's what it's all about. Healing is all about. And you'll see the evolution from from episode one to all these episodes now. You know, I think I'm at like 370 now. And it's just like you'll see the evolution of how I was able to rise up and rise up in Christ where I started, where I was and I was double-minded. There was there was so much double-mindedness where I just I didn't know. And it's okay to not know, to not fully understand, right? God doesn't want us to have it all figured out. I still don't have it all figured out, but that's how we understand. We grow, he grows us in wisdom, and we are able to build this relationship with him. And you you find who God is. You you start to understand his love, you understand how he loves you and how he you understand his forgiveness, right? You can't take his forgiveness for granted, but you understand why he gives us so much forgiveness. He knows that we're that we're sinners, he knows what we're gonna do, he knows our beginning and our and our end. And that's what is just so amazing. And when I came to the conclusion of making this podcast, and a lot of it was through my spoken word poetry, a lot of it is some of the coaching, and a lot of it is the interviews. I love building these connections and networking with others, and it's like you build this fellowship globally with other people, and it's very raw and authentic, right? Because people are being very vulnerable and they open up with their stories, with their lives, no matter how hurtful they were. You know, it it's it's hurtful to go through it, but I feel that it's inspiring to be able to share it because your stories are what's gonna impact others' lives. And that's what it's about, right? We're here for all of us, and we're all here to help each other heal. No one will ever be fully healed, but we can all be here together to try and to kind of go along that path with God to help us along that way to make it there, right? We the only way to stay in God's presence is by staying in his will, right? By or by staying in his will is by staying in his word. And you got to stay in his presence to do that. And there's some of my spoken word poetry, it's very raw, it's very authentic because it's it tells its story, it tells a story of everything that I have gone through, that I have felt, even on the bad days when I'm hurting more than anything that anybody could ever imagine, the most pain. And I'm just crushing, right? My heart is absolutely torn into pieces. And I'm able to go to God and He speaks through me. He still uses me as that vessel to communicate whatever it is that I need to get out, right? Whatever my tears can't say. It's like he gives me the words to say because the words that I speak that I put in my book or that I that I speak through my poetry, it's him. Those are his words, right? It's me speaking, right? But it's him talking. He's the one giving me what to say, what I feel. I lay all of my burdens down at his feet and how he has healed me and how he still continues to heal me. And that's why I love the fact that God gave me this name to call this podcast. It's all about healing, because at the end of the day, we're all healing. It's a long road, it's the road to redemption. It's God, we're all sinners, we're not perfect, but we cannot lean on our own understanding, and we're here to lean on God and to lean on God alone. And that's what it's about. And I love that how I started in the beginning. I was just so wrong about a lot of things, but I've been able to grow. And the stronger I I become in Him, it's like the more connections, the more I start to attract different souls that where I know it's gonna resonate, and more people are reaching out, like the outreach. Like right now, I'm in 118 countries that my podcast has reached. And I thank God so much for that blessing. And it's absolutely phenomenal, it's amazing. I cannot thank God enough for what he has brought me through, what he's gonna continue to bring me through, and how he's going to continue to bring all of these connections together. So, although I'm definitely gonna branch off and do something different with my women in a community, I still want it's all about healing to be there for everyone because everyone needs to hear your story and a little bit about, and no matter what it is that you are going through, whatever if you're facing any type of financial turmoil, relationship, I mean, anything, God will deliver you from that and you will just get back to thriving, right? I when I was in the midst of going through everything that I was going through in my house, I ended up selling my house, which I never should have done that. That's again another story that I'll go into on another podcast. But there was so much wrong with it. I had raccoons in the attic. Like they had did so much damage to my house where the back gutter fell and then it cracked my entire deck. You know, the cutting the grass, it was just so much that was happening all at once. And I ended up selling it. And as soon as I sold my house, we moved to an apartment. And as soon as we moved to an apartment, I was only there for a month. Then the apartment caught fire. Then we had to move. We were in a hotel room. We had to end up moving in with my mom. I mean, it just everything that could go wrong kept going wrong. And I was out there doing so many different things, just trying to make ends meet and just asking God, you know, why me? Why is this happening? What is going on right now? And it's just, it's so much on how God delivered me and how he brought understanding to my situation and where I am today, right? And and through my my weight loss surgery, there's just so many things that I can't wait to speak about in different podcasts. But definitely, again, we're here to hear each other's stories.
