It's All About Healing
In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, we often forget to pause and truly reflect on our thoughts, feelings, and experiences. However, the "It's All About Healing" podcast emphasizes the profound impact that self-reflection can have on our healing journey. Through engaging discussions and personal stories, the hosts illustrates how taking time to look inward can lead to transformative insights.
One powerful lesson shared in the podcast is the importance of creating a safe space for self-reflection. Whether through journaling, meditation, or simply sitting quietly with one’s thoughts, carving out this time allows us to confront our emotions and experiences without judgment. Listeners are encouraged to ask themselves probing questions—What patterns do I see in my life? How do my past experiences shape my present?—which can unlock deeper understanding and foster personal growth.
The podcast also highlights the role of vulnerability in self-reflection. By embracing our authentic selves, including our weaknesses and struggles, we can begin to heal old wounds. Each episode features guests who bravely share their stories of overcoming adversity, demonstrating that vulnerability is not a sign of weakness but rather a powerful catalyst for healing.
Moreover, the hosts discuss the significance of gratitude in the self-reflection process. By recognizing and appreciating the positive aspects of our lives, even amidst chaos, we can shift our focus from what’s lacking to what’s abundant. This shift not only enhances our mental well-being but also strengthens our resilience.
Ultimately, the insights gleaned from this episode remind us that healing is not a linear journey. It requires patience, compassion, and a commitment to self-exploration. By embracing self-reflection as a tool for healing, we can cultivate a deeper sense of inner peace and connection to ourselves, paving the way for a more harmonious life. In a world that often demands our attention outward, the podcast serves as a gentle reminder to turn inward and unlock the healing potential that resides within us all.

Calming Bible Scriptures for Pain and Suffering: Episode 358
Pain usually feels pointless, but what if it’s a doorway to life when seen through the lens of love? We walk through a series of powerful scriptures that reframe correction, sacrifice, and hardship without softening their edges. From Job’s blessing in divine discipline to Paul’s stark warning that sacrifice without love gains nothing, we trace a path that leads straight to the mocked King in Matthew: a scarlet robe, a crown of thorns, and a staff used for scorn that becomes a symbol of true authority.
We share how Jesus’ call to lose your life in order to find it isn’t a paradox for poets; it’s a roadmap for disciples. Philippians and Isaiah anchor the idea that knowing Christ includes both resurrection power and the fellowship of his sufferings. That isn’t cruelty; it’s companionship. The Man of Sorrows carries our griefs, turning misread shame into revealed love. Peter and Paul push us further: taking up the cross is not an optional upgrade. It is the way our minds are armed, our fears quieted, and our desires reshaped toward what lasts.
As the conversation unfolds, we hold two scales: present troubles and eternal glory. The scales won’t balance, and that’s the point. Eternal weight far outweighs momentary pain. Out of that perspective comes a current of comfort from the Father of mercies, a comfort designed to move through us into the lives of others. Perseverance produces character; character matures into hope; and hope refuses to disappoint because God is already at work. The closing promise from the God of all grace ties it all together: after a little while, he restores, strengthens, and sets us firm.
If this resonates, share it with a friend who needs courage today, subscribe for more grounded, scripture-rich conversations, and leave a review to help others find the hope you found here.

Job 5 17 Blessed is the one who God corrects, so do not despise the discipline of the Almighty. First Corinthians 13 3. If I give all I possess to the poor, and give over my body to hardship, that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Matthew 27, verse 28 through 29. They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and then twisted together a crown of thrones and set it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand. Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. Hail, King of the Jews, they said. Matthew 10 39. Whoever finds their life will lose it. Whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Philippians 3 10. I want you to know Christ. Yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death. Isaiah 53 4. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him and afflicted. 1 Peter 2 verse 21. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example that you should follow in his steps. 2 Corinthians 1 verse 5. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. Matthew 10 38. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Isaiah 53, verse 3. He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering and of familiar pain, like one from whom people hide their faces. He was despised. And we held him in low esteem. Philippians 1 verse 29. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him. But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear their threats, do not be frightened. 1 Peter 4, verse 1. Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. Romans 8 verse 35. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. Praise be to God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all of our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. Romans 5, 3 through 4. Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance, perseverance and character, character and hope. And the grace of all grace, or sorry, and the God of all grace, who called you to his intern his eternal glory in Christ, all you have suffered a little while will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast.
